Is it too much?

Momohime Ajibana was this girl's name. She was walking through the city with an airport. While she was walking, she was rather lost in thought. She was thinking of all the fun things that she would be able to do, now that she and her friend, Zorua, named Yumita, were travelling together. I won't be shy! I will make a friend no matter what! That was what she told herself.

Then, suddenly, she could hear the sound of an airplane directly to her right. She froze in her tracks. She looked and saw that she was in the path of an airplane that was about to take off. She was petrified at the sight. The airplane was moving slowly, but she couldn't break the daze that she was in. She could hear Yumita crying to him. Then arms came from behind her and forcibly pulled her back.

It was someone who worked at the airport. "Hey, you should watch where you're going. Someone was a little irresponsible by not blocking this path, but a casualty could easily be avoided if you'd just wake up."


Ever since that incident, Momohime just couldn't work up the same vigor that she had before. Her spirits had fallen rather low. She was too bashful to look at someone when they passed her on the streets as she walked. Yumita could tell she was unhappy.

They exited the city, and entered into the field. After that, Zorua made himself appear human. Whenever he did this, he was able to communicate in the way that a human does. He seemed to avoid doing this while others were around. Perhaps, he only does this for friends. "Please cheer up, Momohime, I don't like seeing you like that."

Momohime looked to Yumita. She couldn't help smiling every time he did that. He would take many different appearances, but it was always taller than her, and it seemed he was best at comforting her like that. Momohime hugged the boy, even though she knew it was simply an illusion. It was Yumita , though, and he made every sense at once fall for it. Even if she were to close her eyes, she knew she'd be unable to resist his illusions.

She hadn't been crying, yet Yumita could tell she was in distress. They had been together so long, that maybe he could simply sense it. With that over, Yumita was back to being a Zorua. "Right," Momohime said. "First thing's first. Let's find a Pokemon."

A drifloon drifted by slowly. He looked at the two and floated toward them, waved and smiled. Its strings blew in the wind. He then floated in a circle around the two.

He doesn't seem to want a fight and just curious.

When the Drifloon waved its thin string at them, Momohime looked to the Drifloon and waved back. "The Pokemon around here are nice, aren't they?" But when the Drifloon came close and started circling around her, she panicked. She fell to her knees and shrieked. Yumita sighed. This was normal for Momohime. He knew the Drifloon meant no harm, yet he felt the need to take a defensive stance.

The drifloon glared at this gesture and was upset that he was taken as a threat. He immediately threw himself up into the air and decended quickly ontop of the male using body slam.

The Drifloon was probably more experienced in combat than than the Zorua. Yumita's legs almost gave in immediately to the body slam. If he had been caught by surprise, he certainly would've been done in by now. Momohime looked up when she heard Yumita's painful groaning. "Yumita!" she shouted. She tried to stand, but more collapsed over Yumita. He just barely moved away from her falling body.

Momohime, herself, had fainted. Apparently, she was already weakened, and the extra pressure of seeing her friend being attacked in such a way served only to make it too much to handle. Yumita felt even more reason to protect Momohime. He hadn't attacked the Drifloon, because he didn't think it would attack, but now he had to, right? Yumita had to decide on his own for now. He decided to attack the Drifloon using Pursuit.

The drifloon was hit and knocked back. He responded to this by sending a strong gust of wind. If zorua hadn't attack he would have felt good having gotten that out, but now he was pissed.

Yumita was blown away, behind Momohime's collapsed form. He couldn't do a whole lot more. Simply walking was becoming hard to do by now. He walked as far as by Momohime, and then started crying. Yumita was using its fake tears.

Drifloom very obviously fell for this and felt terrible. He floated up and tried to comfort them. He patted Yumita on the head "drif.  . ." It said apologetically. He then turned around to leave.

Yumita couldn't help but actually feel a little comfort from the patting. If it were possible to be seen, Yumita probably be blushing right now. He knew the Drifloon did not mean harm to begin with, but it seemed he was rather easily offended. When it decided to leave, Yumita was glad that he had protected Momohime. He nudged the back of her hand with his nose.

Momohime opened her eyes and looked to Yumita. "I'm sorry," she said. "I guess I was a little tired." She then saw the Drifloon. She had forgotten about the encounter. Momohime immediately got to her feet, though she was on wobbly legs. She made a bow toward the Drifloon. "I'm sorry. I'm.. a just shy." She didn't know until now that it wasn't just people that she gets nervous around. She was not always around people, due to the fact that she had fallen sick many times when she was supposed to be in school. She didn't know if it would hear her. The Drifloon was facing away, and her voice was rather quiet at times.

The drifloon smiled and was glad to hear the apology. He turned around "drifloon?" He sort of tilted his body sideways as if he were asking a question. He wanted to come near them but wasn't sure if he would get into more trouble.

Momohime didn't perceive what the Drifloon was trying to communicate, though she did take notice to the fact that the Drifloon had actually heard her. Was it disappointed to leave? She was admittedly still a little nervous, but she decided to take some steps toward it. How would the Drifloon react to her being close? She kept walking toward the drifloon, not knowing what to expect.

He just floated there smiling. He knew if he moved too fast then she would be scared so he held back his enthusiasm.

Momohime didn't know what to do. A hand shake? But the drifloon didn't have any hands. It also didn't seem like a hug was applicable... it would probably be awkward for both of them. The most she could do was bow again. At least that was what she was trying to do. When she bowed, she saw the ground coming closer than she expected, and then she noticed that she had fallen. Momohime hit her head against the grassy field. If it had been paved roads like in a city, this most likely would have caused damage. Apparently, Momohime still had bad balance to deal with.

He was a little worried seeing this so he floated up slowly and offered his strings(?) To help her up.

Momohime didn't notice it at first, because her face was to the ground. She looked up eventually, and saw it was offering her help up. What she saw was a mere string, however. Would it be able to support her wight? She worried about breaking the string, then shook her head. The Drifloon is probably smarter than that. She reached out and grabbed for the drifloon's offered limb.

Yumita, seeming to be somewhat recovered, came over to the two of them. He was always at Momohime's side, and the time sitting there must have been boring anyway. Plus, Momohime just fell. He couldn't simply let her go like that.

Drifloon pulled up with all his strength and pulled her up. He smiled and looked at both of them. Just then the wind picked up and was starting to carry him away. He looked sadly at the two and waved goodbye though it would take a good few minutes before he was going to be too far off.
