Down from the mountain(Open)

Jonathon hopped the final little step down from Mount Silver and onto the road. "Where do you think we are Mist?" He asked his misdreavous, looking around the area. "Ah well. We made it this far." He said, sitting down on te ground. Mist angrily flew around him and urged him to get up. "Fine. Let's see where we are." Jonathon got to his feet and started walking toward town.

Stepping into Jonathon's path, a Cyndaquil blocked his path forward. "Cynda!" it shouted in challenge, apparently wanting to battle.

Cyndaquil, Female, Level 8

"Whoa! A cyndaquil!" Jonathon said, surprised to see a pokemon like that. He crouched down in front of it. "Hey. I'm Jonathon, want to travel with me?" He asked, smiling at the little fire starter. Meanwhile Mist just sighed and waited for a battle to actually start. Some days she wondered who was the trainer and who was the partner.
