Acila's last night in Goldenrod City, for now!

It was late at night, the moon shining bright as few stars were barely visable. A tan skinned thirteen year old with cold lavender eyes and long light green hair in a ponytail walked along the City's eerily quiet streets. Her parents didn't know she snuck out and it made her feel great, knowing that she was taking a risk.

The thirteen year old wore a black leather jacket over a white t-shirt, she had on faded jeans and black and white converses as well.

She sighed, tonight was her last night in Goldenrod, for when the next day came she would head off to finally start her journey through Johto. A small smile fell onto her lips as she stopped walking to stand underneath a flickering street light on the corner of the street. The street was what sepreated the two different worlds of Goldenrod. She looked back the way she came, the houses were in much better condition for it was the safer part of Goldenrod, having had very few problems. But before was another story, gang activity was most common there and even though most are trying to improve the more dangerous side of Goldenrod, it was looking as if it would take quite some time to actually improve.

Acila, or Cil, was one for adventure and danger. Her eyes lit up as she stared ahead at the strangely darker side of the city.

As Cil walked ahead an eerie wind blew through city sending chills down the spine of anyone it touched. A pack of Ratata scurried across the ground toward a near by dumpsters.Many things were different in this part of Goldenrod. People didn't keep certain morals and some just didn't care about them. This was a place of crime and fear. In this place it seemed like the moon didn't shine as bright.

Cil stared determendly as she continued on with caution, curious to if her older brother was staying at the gang he joined hideout. Probably not, but the possabilities were high since he hadn't been back home in a month. She plucked the first Pokeball off of her belt, it was the only one that had a Pokemon in it, and tossed into the air causing a white beam to come out of it with a pop. Before Cil was a Chikorita, who frowned as he imediately took in their surroundings.

He didn't like this side of Goldenrod and usually had to distract Acila from going near it. He gave a disapproving grunt as he looked up at his trainer with irritated red eyes.

"You're to serious and worry to much Arthur, loosen up. Besides, we might find brother or some tough Pokemon before heading to the first gym." the green haired girl stated, watching out for any members of a rival gang of her brother's or rabid Pokemon.

As Cil was talking to Arthur a dunpster began to rattle. Then trash went flying out. Something was going on.

Both Pokemon and trainer heard the noise and faced the dumpster, Arthur stadning protectively in front of Cil, ready for what was to come. Cil watched the dumpster intensly, ready to give Arthur an attack if it did turn out to be a strong or rabid Pokemon. Her brother had always told her not to try and find the gang he joined, unless she either wanted to see him or join herself. Sure she loved her brother, but not enough to join a gang he may someday run, it wasn't her thing even though she usually dressed the part. She was taken out of her musings when Arthur gave an annoyed chirp of "Chika!" to get Cil's attention.

A pokemon popped out of the dumpster and turned to face Cil.


Granbull
Lvl 23
(I know it is quite strong but there is some logic behind it)

"Let's start off with Razor Leaf!" Cil commanded, she was somewhat shocked at the Pokemon before them, it obviously was strong. Arthur swung his leaf to and fro, causing smaller, razor sharp leaves to speed towards Granbull.

(Yep and it will happen soon) The Granbull was hit but the attack seemed to do nothing.Granbull the jumped,out,of,the dumpster and glared at the Chikarita.

Arthur glared back as he waited for another command. "Use Poison Powder!" Cil said loudly, hoping that her brother or any gang member that her brother was close friends with was on potrol of the area and heard her. She had the feeling that she may not win this one, but got rid of the though. Arthur used to be her brother's Pokemon! Her brother always trained his Pokemon to be tough and strong! Arthur nodded before his leaf turned a purple hue, he then waved it in the same manner that he did with Razor Leaf, releasing a purple powder in Granbull's direction.

The pokemon flinched as it was poisened but stood up. It then charged Acila. As it neared the girl another voice rang out. "Lucario use Focus Blast" . The out of no where an orange ball of energy,hit the pokemon in the side. The Granbull fell fainted. Then a pokeball flew through the air a hit the fainted pokemon sucking it in. Then with one click the ball stopped shaking.

Cil pouted despite herself. She had planned on catching Granbull but was thatnkfull that she didn't get hurt, or worse. She looked around for the one that saved her as Arthur gave a small sigh in relief, but he wouldn't relax yet, not until he was sure Acila was safe. Suddenly, rushing foot steps could be heard and a Totodile rounded the corner of a building followed by a eighteen year old with blond hair that ended at the nape of his neck in a ponytail, he wore a red t-shirt under a black leather jacket, black jeans, black and red converses and on his head was a red bandana with a black pokeball symbol on it. He had the same skin and eye color as Acila as well.

The man turned to Acila. He had dark black,hair the was about shoulder length and covered most of his right eye. He wore a black top hat, as well as a suit, pants, and dress shoes. He smiled creepily. "Why hello" he said. "What is a little girl like you doing in these parts of Goldenrod" he asked tapping the cane he had on the ground.

"I was looking for my older brother..." she said with a frown, she didn't like the way he smiled. It was creepy and suspicious. Arthur frowned as well, easily remembering the sayings "Don't talk to strangers" and "Stranger Danger". He gave a low growl but stopped when he looked over his shoulder to see Brian and his Totodile, Fang, the eighteen year old was obviously Cil's older sibling. They looked a lot alike, the only thing different between them was their hair color.

Brian quickly went to his sister's side. "You okay?" he asked in concern.

"Mhm." she hummed in response, glancing at the mysterious man curiously. He was strangely dressed for this side of Goldenrod. Maybe he lived on the other side? Then there was the fact he was out so late, though, Cil wasn't an exception herself.
